Jewelry Care

We suggest you store all DEMARSON jewelry in the custom pouch provided.

12k Gold/Silver Plated

Most of our jewelry is brass and/or metal based with 12k gold and/or silver rhodium micron plating. In order to care for these pieces, here are some easy tips to preserve them for a lifetime:

Carefully wipe or spot clean with a soft cloth.

Never submerge jewelry in a liquid cleaner, chlorine or water.

Remove rings and bracelets when applying hand sanitizers and/or washing your hands. This can cause metal plating to wear down.

Keep your jewelry out of direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.

Do not apply perfumes, chemicals or lotions directly onto your jewelry.

Sterling Silver

Our Sterling Silver collection includes 18k gold vermeil pieces. Gold vermeil is a layer of gold applied to a sterling silver base. The gold layer is thick enough to give the jewelry strong durability against tarnishing.

These pieces can be worn in water but please avoid excessive exposure to chemicals. Polish these pieces with provided polishing cloth and clean when needed by submerging in mild soap and lukewarm water for 5-10 minutes.

Pearls

Keep your freshwater pearls looking new by cleaning with a soft, damp cloth after use. It is best to avoid contact with liquids, even water, as it will reduce the pearl's shimmer over time. Avoid using cleaners, detergents, brushes and ultrasound cleaners.
